RAPID^® timber construction screws are designed to meet these demands. The HiLo thread reduces driving resistance, enabling fast installation with less effort. Connections can be made more quickly and with fewer interruptions, an important advantage in modular, prefabricated and serial construction.

A simple calculation

With 360 screw connections and a time saving of 10 seconds per screw, this works out as: 360 × 10 seconds = 3,600 seconds, or 60 minutes, i.e. one hour of working time. Where there are several modules or larger production runs, the benefit increases accordingly.

Less effort, easier to use

The HiLo thread makes screwdriving easier and reduces fatigue during repetitive tasks. Its lower driving torque can also help extend the battery life of cordless installation tools. For manufacturing operations, this means a smoother process with fewer interruptions.

No pre-drilling required

The patented self-tapping tip provides precise, easy starting across multiple RAPID^® variants, without the need for pre-drilling. This saves time, especially when making a large number of identical connections. Oblique and cross-grain timber connections are also easier to install. Cutting grooves on the thread help prevent splitting, reduce driving resistance and ensure clean, professional results.

The right design for the connection

RAPID^® CS can be fully countersunk into timber. Milling pockets on the countersunk head help minimise tearing and splintering. RAPID^® SSF is designed for flush countersinking and high pull-out strength. Its underhead shoulder ensures a secure fit in pre-drilled holes in steel, making it suitable for applications such as corner and wall fixings.

For high-density timber or when using an impact driver, RAPID^® Dual provides a suitable alternative. Its hexagonal drive improves power transmission, while the additional T-drive can reduce the need to change tools. For joinery workshops and prefabrication facilities, the RAPID^® CS joinery range makes the process even more efficient: all four diameters use the same T20 bit size.
