Schmid Schrauben Hainfeld expands the portfolio of RAPID® fully threaded screws by 13 dimensions
The continuing boom in wood construction also brings with it new demands from processors. For this reason, Schmid Schrauben Hainfeld has significantly expanded its portfolio and thus offers processors even more options in the daily use of the high-quality RAPID® fully threaded screws.
New intermediate lengths
The new intermediate lengths close the gaps in the dimensions 8x300 to 8x400 and 10x300 to 10x400, respectively, and are available both as countersunk heads and as cylinder heads.
The new lengths include 8x325, 8x375, and 10x325 and 10x375. Schmid Schrauben thus closes an important gap and offers an intermediate step to the products already available.

New special lengths
In addition to the intermediate lengths, Schmid Schrauben will in future be offering special long fully threaded screws as programme goods for special applications. For the 8 and 10 diameters, the delivery programme is extended by a 700 mm full thread which is available with either a countersunk head or a cylinder head. In addition, the 12 countersunk head with the dimensions 700 mm, 800 mm and 1000 mm gets a significant upgrade.
Available surfaces
All RAPID® fully threaded screws offer as standard the high-quality Yellwin 500+ surface with a corrosion resistance of 500 h to red rust (according to salt spray test). In addition, ZnNi1000 and ZnNi1500 are available as special coatings if the screws have to withstand even more extreme atmospheric challenges. In addition to the high-quality surfaces, Schmid Schrauben Hainfeld offers an extra line of RAPID® fully threaded stainless steel. (available as 8x120 to 8x300)
Of course, all new screws meet the strict quality requirements of Schmid Schrauben and are included in the Schmid ETA. In addition to its own continuous quality control, Schmid Schrauben relies on a cooperation with Holzforschung Austria and also voluntarily allows itself to be monitored externally. Because we not only promise quality, we also ensure that this promise is kept!
